
Loaf, snack and petrol -- the price for daily commodities has raised since 1st December.
The trend is going to be continued further for taxi charge, instant noodle, beer etc. and will burden each household, as now is the season to drain on its wallet near the close to another year.
Yamazaki Baking Co., Ltd. (山崎製パン) on 1st Dec. increased 8% the price of its loafs, snacks, and Japanese/Western confections. Fujiya Co., Ltd. (不二家) also followed and raised the prices of 46 basic items such as cakes and cream buns in incremental steps.
Nippon Oil Corporation (新日本石油), the largest oil distributor in Japan, raised the price of heating oil and petrol by 6 to 7 yen (per a litre) than the last month. The average shop price of petrol is expected to rise up to 150 yen to 155 yen.
The upper limit of taxi's starting fare in Tokyo area is currently 660 yen and will raise to 710 yen from 3rd December. Beer price will be also expected to raise from 1st February by Kirin Brewery (キリンビール), and from 1st March by Asahi Breweries (アサヒビール).
