Marriage Anniversary of my parents



It became my duty to treat... :)
This is Tai Chaduke (sea bream fish cut in pieces and topped on rice, pour Japanese houji-cha on it).




Carrot cut in flower shape as "tsuma (garnish)", what a thin it is!!


Kiku flowers



Kiku (chrysanthemum) is a symbol flower of Japan.
4th Sunday there was "Kiku" exhibition (Kikka Ten, 菊花展) held at Munakata Taisha (shrine).




Primary school (Genkai Shogakko) children challenged to grow Kiku.
"It was  very difficult but very fun!"


What a beautiful..



Coming 15th November is Shichi-go-san, the day to pray healthy growth for children who are on 7, 5, or 3 years old.




Hi there, how're ya?
They are Great Samurai,  Hideyoshi Toyotomi and Heihachiro Oshio.
Now became one of Kiku.

Onabe



Now it's "Nabe" season in Japan!
Do you know, it is "lettus" nabe, first boil pork in soup, let it boil for sometime, and then tofu, shiitake mushroom, and finally 2 heads of lettus!!
Very tasty.
